What does Vimo compare its negotiated prices to?
Vimo lists a negotiated price and then says the price is a "less expensive" by a given percentage. What this means is that the negotiated price is less expensive than the national average price of the procedure at all hospitals. The percentage is how much cheaper the negotiated price would be than the national average. So if it says "75% less expensive," the negotiated price for this procedure at the hospital is 75% cheaper than what you would pay on-average at other hospitals across America.
