When I'm searching medical procedures, I've noticed the terms "+CC" and "-CC". What do they mean?

"+CC" indicates the procedure is being performed with complications and serious co-existing conditions in addition to the primary disease or disorder, while "-CC" indicates the procedure is being done without complications and serious co-existing conditions. Complications and co-existing conditions generally bump up the price of a procedure.
